International Urban Theatre Festival, Rome 2010

The annual Festival Internazionale del Teatro Urbano, or International Urban Theatre Festival, is taking place in September 2010 and takes over streets right across Rome. The festival is a chance for performers to show off their acting skills, with the beautiful architecture and cobbled streets as a backdrop. The first day is usually dedicated to new, young actors and actresses, and alternative theatre. Performances start at 5pm and can be spotted all over the city until Midnight on the days of the event. The festival can be enjoyed by all, as the performances are on the streets and other open air venues, and therefore there are no admission charges at any of the events.
